About you

• You love learning. You want exposure to a wide range of challenges and to have variety in your day. The list of areas in which you want to gain experience keeps on getting longer, and might include things like programming, networking, UNIX, AWS, IaS, or cloud computing.
• You want to be challenged and pushed. You're not bothered by job titles or climbing the corporate ladder, but instead want a job which gives you a real sense of fulfillment and purpose (and which rewards well too).
• You're a tech geek. In your spare time, you might build home networks or labs or do something interesting within a cloud environment. When you want to learn about a new piece of tech you download the software, play around with it, scour the documentation for cool features, and learn by making mistakes.
• You're genuinely interested in the web security industry. You might read security blogs in your spare time or keep up to date with the latest developments and technologies another way.
• You're motivated by difficult problems with no obvious solutions. If someone tells you that a task can't be done, your instinct is to find a way to prove them wrong by finding a creative fix. The idea of working on something new that no-one else has done before excites you.
• You're open and honest. You're happy to drive your own work and also to ask for help if you need it. You seek quick feedback to check you're on the right track and are eager to share ideas. You like working collaboratively and bouncing ideas off others to create something greater than the sum of its parts.

The opportunity

The IT team is responsible for managing and maintaining all IT operations to ensure that the business can operate and grow with robust and secure systems. We are now looking for an exceptional early career or graduate candidate to help support across all aspects of IT engineering. To be successful in this role you will need to show the potential to deliver on tasks such as:

• Supporting day to day IT operations, including end user queries.
• Involvement in maintaining and managing physical and cloud infrastructure, incorporating delivery of automation at scale where appropriate.
• Helping to improve and deliver on our security governance position in line with best practice, including gaining experience of developing robust incident response processes, managing system access, and ensuring all systems are managed and patched.
• Involvement in maintaining a wide range of business and development applications and solutions across all areas of the organization.
• Participating and seeking opportunities to improve infrastructure, services and securities.
• Maintaining knowledge articles and documentation.
• Supporting workplace and smart office functionality.
